Born in Greece, Dorita was 8 years old when she was diagnosed with a scoliosis of her spine. Dorita underwent spinal fusion surgery 7 years later and it was during this challenging journey of rehabilitation that she was introduced to the Pilates method. Like so many people, Dorita experienced first hand the incredible benefits of Pilates, and so, after practising for about 11 years, she decided to fully embrace the technique by training to become a teacher. Dorita completed her qualification with Body Control Pilates in London.
• Active IQ level 3 Diploma in instructing Pilates Mat-work (QCF).
•Active IQ Level 3 Award in designing Pre and Post Natal Exercise Programmes.
• Body Control Pilates qualified in instructing Pilates Reformer.

“As an experienced and certified Pilates teacher, I have the ability to identify the imbalances in the student’s body and to instruct with kindness the appropriate exercises to improve those deficits. Clients under my care improve their body awareness and posture, increase flexibility and joint mobility, reduce stress and musculoskeletal pains. Since 2015, I have dedicated myself to providing high quality sessions to corporate and private clients. I offer to all students live online Pilates group classes via Zoom. I have created 11Pilates group class styles to cover both men and women needs, as well as one class for children. There are 4 different levels, from intro to advanced and I run 13 classes per week. A very successful service for firms with staff working from home and from the office. As my first degree was in management and finance, I used to be an accountant working long hours and I have experienced myself the challenges of an office worker. Deadlines and long hours sitting on a chair can disrupt physical and mental health. Being a mother of two made me face the needs of a stay-at-home parent. I have understood how low energy levels can affect the quality of life and the necessity of easy access to training. With my live online group classes I try to provide the luxury of quality training to people in all stages of life . Let relaxation combined with movement nourish both body and mind.“
