Born in Greece, Dorita was 8 years old when she was diagnosed with a scoliosis of her spine. Dorita underwent spinal fusion surgery 7 years later and it was during this challenging journey of rehabilitation that she was introduced to the Pilates method. Like so many people, Dorita experienced first hand the incredible benefits of Pilates, and so, after practising for about 11 years, she decided to fully embrace the technique by training to become a teacher. Dorita completed her qualification with Body Control Pilates in London. Dorita has also completed an online course at Stanford University about nutrition. This happened when she realised how much herself and her students needed to sleep better, feel better and look better. The Nutrition Science certificate offered to Dorita all the knowledge she needed about indigestions, weight loss and weight maintainance.

Since 2015, I have dedicated myself to providing high quality sessions to corporate and private clients. I offer to all international students live online Pilates group classes via Zoom. I have created 12Pilates group class styles to cover both men and women needs, as well as one class for children. There are 4 different levels, from intro to advanced and I run 14 classes per week. A very successful service for firms with staff working from home and from the office. As my first degree was in management and finance, I used to be an accountant working long hours and I have experienced myself the struggles of an office worker. Deadlines and long hours sitting on a chair can disrupt physical and mental health. It was after my pregnancies that I’ve tried teaching online and Covid established the live online training. Being a mother of two, I have faced myself the challenges of a stay-at-home parent. I have understood how low energy levels can affect the quality of life and the necessity of easy access to training. That period of my life made me focus on nutrition, and after studying now, I can confidently say that Pilates accompanied by Balanced diet is a lifestyle.
